A FREE 5-DAY EMAIL COURSE FOR GOALKEEPER PARENTS
What to say after the game, after the mistake, and on the hard days. Five short emails, one each morning, from a former professional goalkeeper and longtime goalkeeper coach.
Free. Five emails over five mornings, then the weekly OneMoreSave newsletter. Unsubscribe anytime.
No homework, and no soccer background needed.
Day 1: The first five minutes. What to say after the whistle, and what to leave alone.
Day 2: One mistake is loud. The two questions that help your keeper see it is still just one.
Day 3: Specific beats "good game." The praise that builds real confidence.
Day 4: Rehearse the reset. A five-minute rep you can do together, with nothing to do with technique.
Day 5: Your next step. How the pieces fit together, and where to go from here.
I spent years watching parents wait by the car after games, wanting badly to do right by their keeper and not knowing what to say. It was never a lack of caring. It was a lack of a script.
I played goalkeeper professionally, directed goalkeeper training at Soccer Plus GK School, coached goalkeepers across youth clubs, and served as an assistant goalkeeper coach for the U-20 U.S. Women's National Team and the Houston Dash. This course is the parent-facing half of what I've taught keepers directly.
